2008 is over- it is officially the year of seniors 2009.  To start it off, a few new years resolutions--
I resolve to be a better friend, not stand up for myself, to be true to myself (to figure out who that is) To buy better shoes, to study more, to meet new people, to be better, to do more art, to be more patient, to clean my room more, to take better care of myself, physically, mentally, and emotionally, to take more risks, to tell people what i think, have more courage, save more money, be nicer, enjoy life more, take more photos, get ready for college, be more active, see my friends more.  I just resolve to be better, to get out with the old and in with the good.  Hope everyone had a good year, and has an even better one net year.

around the neck

These are just a few of my favorite necklaces this season- this is the Lanvin pearl neclace
The AllDressedUp fringe necklace, originally designed by Francesca Versace, I normally hate fringe but these are amazing.
I love this Wright & Teague necklace.  Those are african beads, and it all goes to Oxfam.

Snow Flake

My new party dress

The first snow Angel, since I was maybe seven, eight?

The pond behind the house.  MA was amazing.  The snow was entrancing, and It was just beautiful.

story board

A few Polaroids I took on national portfolio day.

You can let a Maxi up, but you can't let a mini down

All of these are from an amazing blog chronicling mini skirts in the 60's and 70's.  I am pretty much in love with it, seeing as mini skirts are about half my wardrobe.  The pictures are all so great, and even though I don't understand a word, I cant tear my eyes away.  Go check it out now.

missing days

I awoke this morning feeling as if it were Christmas, not a clue as to why.  I am finally recovering from my sickness that had me in bed for four days, making me completely miss out on thanksgiving, and black friday shopping.  Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, to end on a happy note, this is a beautiful photo that my friend Patrick took of my hair, this one is one of many that will be entered into contests and such this year.
Have a great weekend!!

ellery the cellery

I love baking so much!

That game with the hands went on a while

jay stoking the fire
It was such a fun night- there were soo may people there, but it was totally worth it thanks to every one who came!!!

and she hugged him-

The girlys and I went out to Elmo's for dinner
em and jen and me, I think we were the loudest people in the whole diner.
Then over to mad hatters for some on the house coffee and cupcakes and lovin from mary and Michael.
It was a fun night- just what I needed, new tradition is a bi-weekly dinner.  Twilight (cedric diggory!) comes out tomorrow- ahhh!

Obama for your mama

I know this is 16 days late, but my camera just woke up from it's short coma, and I finally got this photo.  I am so glad that I did no make this cake in vain.  Short story, the day after the election, my math class actually stood up for the pledge.  This is something that has never happened, and it was really amazing.  Good for america.

grab it before the old lady does

I got a thrifted hat yesterday, I so love thrift world.

It has a lace covering and a little feather on top.
I am so in love with it.

Santa Heads

I know that it is a horrible thing to start thinking about christmas before thanksgiving, but I was getting coffee at P&O this afternoon, and they has christmas candy galore, and it got me thinking about the few things I want.
I have already stated that I want these, and I still do, the north is way colder than the south, and my feet get cold really easy.
Again with the cold feet, these slippers are wonderful!  They still don't compare to the elephant slippers that I had for so many years (until my dog ate them all up), but they will do.
This is just so cute, I have coveted it for months, but never got the guts to buy it.
METALLIC UGGS!  Need I say more?
Pink wheels, these can help me roller around campus wicked fast.
I already have a turntable, but it is hard to transport because the speakers are huge, and this one would be perfect for a dorm.  Also on the list is a Ihome, or some such thing.  My big idea is to get stuff for college.  The dead line for early apps is tomorrow, so I am taking tonight off to go see Oliver at school with amy.  I'll finish early morning and have them all sent in by noon.  Have a good weekend!
